Preparing ground for horticulture 500x333Work continues in the project to promote social development in fishing communities. Project staff and locally recruited activists are working to mobilize communities about COVID-19 and to pass on key messages about hand hygiene and social distancing. Simultaneously, staff are working with participants to strengthen their resilience.  Introducing horticulture is one way of improving food security and perhaps even producing a surplus for sale.
